HorsePower
and HotRods Auction
October 23rd at the Sevierville Events Center
Cooper Events and Thompson-Carr Auctions present a one day Auction on
Saturday October 23rd at the Sevierville Events Center in the Foothills
of The Great Smoky Mountains. Auction time will be 10:00 am and 150 cars
are expected. Consignment fees begin at $100 to a maximum of $200 for
prime time numbers. Our last auction in March during Corvette Expo, also
held at the Events Center, netted 51% sales rate and 129 cars crossing
the block. Fifty eight of the cars crossing the block were Corvettes (11
more than Barrett-Jackson had at their Palm Beach Auction) with a
Corvette sales rate of 54%. Several Corvettes and other cars were sold
at No Reserve.
Promoter and Cooper Events owner Byron Cooper said there will be at
least 10 Corvettes at No Reserve at the Fall Auction. All Auction cars
will be inside the 108,000 SF Events Center. Dale Carr of Thompson Carr
Auctions reminds Consignors that their company offers same day pay. If
your car sells you will carry a check home on Saturday.
To consign a car to Auction call Cooper Events at (865) 687-3976.
Good numbers will go fast. Multi-car discounts are offered to dealers or
collectors with more than 3 cars. Bidders call Thompson Carr at (877)
497-3523.
The Fall Collector Car Auction is sponsored by ET Motorgear,
Hillbilly Vette Shop, and Cooper’s Corvette Center.
FUTURE EVENT: 34th annual Corvette Expo 2011 and 2 day Auction March
25-26, 2011. The Spring event will feature an inside and outside Swap
Meet, Show, Park N’ Show, Sales Corral, Corvette Cruise, NCRS-SE
Chapter judging and much more.
