Corvette Corral 1978
Bloomington Gold started in 1973 as a one day
event (then called the Bloomington Corvette
Corral) in the town of Bloomington, Illinois.
In 1974, its popularity grew, and it became a two-day event and
by 1977, it became a three-day event. In
1978, David Burroughs unveiled the new Gold Certification judging which
the show is now known around the world for.
This
is the June 1979 issue of Vette Vues Magazine.
The photos were
taken the year prior at the
Bloomington Corvette Corral (later renamed
Bloomington Gold).
