Bloomington Corvette Corral 1978

Bloomington Gold started in 1973 as a one day event (then called the Bloomington Corvette Corral) in the town of Bloomington, Illinois.  In 1974, its popularity grew, and it became a two-day event and by 1977, it became a three-day event.   In 1978, David Burroughs unveiled the new Gold Certification judging which the show is now known around the world for.

This is the June 1979 issue of Vette Vues Magazine.
The photos were taken the year prior at the
Bloomington Corvette Corral (later renamed Bloomington Gold).

See if you recognize anyone!
